The character stroke names are played out during character stroke animations and handwriting practice. Some teachers may have preferences for the stroke names of a character. For example, for the second stroke of the grass root (艹), some teachers call it shu4 (vertical line) while other teachers call it dian3 (dot). This tool allows the teachers to select the preferred name for the stroke in a character. Note that this change applies only to the vocab lists you create and share with your students. This will not affect other teachers or students.
